How It Works
The technology of photographing auras began in the 1930s with Semyon Kirlian from Russia. What is now referred to as Kirlian photography began clearly as an accident. Kirlian, who was an inventor and electrician, placed an object on top of a photographic plate which was connected to voltage. The resulting image was on the photographic plate, and Kirlian felt that these images could be examined in contrast with the aura of a human being.
